Lauren is an experienced professional dog trainer. She has 10 years of experience in the dog world. At a young age Lauren volunteered for adoption events for various rescue organizations in St. Louis. She quickly realized she enjoyed training the dogs and had a knack for it. In high school she adopted a young puppy, raised her, and trained her. Lauren has trained numerous dogs of all ages, breeds, and backgrounds. Lauren has attended many dog training workshops and dog sport seminars with highly respected professionals. Her approach to training is always to implement exercises that encourage the dogs to be happy to work for their owners. Lauren is always continuing to educate herself and gain knowledge by taking classes and attending workshops. She is extremely passionate about training dogs and always encourages the owners to continue to bond with their dogs. For the last two years Lauren has competed and trained in the dog sport world with her 2.5 year old mixed breed rescue. After tending to some behavioral modification with her own dog in order to improve her ability to participate in sports Lauren was inspired to open her own business to help other handler and dog teams succeed.
Lauren and her dog hold multiple titles in dock diving, obedience, tricks, and nosework. They are in the top 100 mixed breeds in the US for AKC Fastcat. Lauren continues to take classes as well as travel the world for continuing education seminars and conferences.
